Significant Progress Achieved in the APTCE Project
We are pleased to report major advancements in the APTCE initiative, marking a key milestone in our efforts. This progress reflects the hard work, coordination, and commitment of all team members and stakeholders involved.
APTCE Board of Directors – Committee Restructuring
We are pleased to announce the renovation of the APTCE Board Members Committee, aimed at strengthening the governance and strategic direction of the organization. This process includes the appointment of new members and the restructuring of existing committees to better align with APTCE’s mission and future goals.
Spanish Ibex Scabies Disease Management Project & Objectives
- Monitor the prevalence and distribution of scabies outbreaks in wild populations.
- Develop and apply early detection protocols.
- Implement control and treatment strategies where feasible.
- Promote long-term population monitoring and biodiversity conservation.
APTCE (SPHA) was honored to attend a session at the Spanish Senate in its capacity as a trustee of Fundación Artemisan. The purpose of its presence was to support the presentation of the foundation’s comprehensive study on the social, economic, and environmental impact of hunting in Spain.
This landmark report highlights the critical role that sustainable hunting plays in rural development, biodiversity conservation, and the national economy. APTCE reaffirms its commitment to evidence-based policy-making and to fostering informed dialogue around the future of hunting and wildlife management in Spain.
